Fishing Trip in Port Washington, WI Saturday, June 25, 2005
To all those who missed it, we were sorry you couldn't have been there. We stayed with Mark at his place in West Allis, then trekked up to Port Washington early on Saturday morning. We were haze gray and underway around 5:15, and started fishing around 20 minutes later. The fish were hitting the lines every 10-15 minutes or so, big King Salmon and 1 Coho.
We were back on land around 10:45, and after our skipper cut up the fish it wasn't a few minutes later that we were playing cornhole at the house of Mark's friend, Tim (the 3rd).
Good call, Mark.
Milwaukee really is a good place to have a reunion, especially in the summer. We were unable to do a lot this time around, but with the racetrack and state fairgrounds so close, the Brewers, the breweries, and Heartbreakers, there is something for everyone.
See link on right for charter-fishing.
